Courtney is accepting new clients!
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, identity questions, chronic stress, and major life transitions. Many people come to therapy with the sense that something isn’t working anymore, even if they’re not yet sure how to explain it.
My approach is relational and psychodynamic, meaning we pay attention to emotional patterns, relationships, and experiences that shape how you cope, connect, and see yourself. Therapy with me is collaborative and thoughtful. There may not be quick fixes, but over time, this work can support greater self-understanding, emotional steadiness, and more satisfying relationships. I aim to create a warm, grounded, and nonjudgmental space where you feel respected and heard.
I am LGBTQIA+ affirming and committed to practicing with cultural humility. As a white therapist, I take the impact of power, privilege, and systemic forces on people’s lives seriously and engage in ongoing reflection as part of ethical care. My goal is to help you make sense of what you’re experiencing, feel more at ease in your own skin, and develop a clearer, more compassionate relationship with yourself and others.
I am a graduate student in the Counseling@Northwestern Clinical Counseling master’s program. I see clients at Resonant Counseling under supervision of Lisa Wenninger, LPCC 14315.
